As Peak Design's wholesale business grew, its 3-person finance team was buried in manual payment operations. Roughly 100 checks arrived each month, requiring the VP of Finance to personally sort, photograph, and deposit them. Wire transfers demanded separate spreadsheet reconciliation. On a routine day, a single payment took more than 10 minutes to process, creating backlogs that sent false past-due notices to paid customers.
Solution
Paystand deployed Smart Lockbox and AR automation integrated directly into NetSuite. Incoming checks, ACH payments, and card transactions are now automatically scanned, matched to open invoices, and reconciled with credit memos applied in the same transaction. The result: domestic payment processing dropped to zero manual effort, and Peak Design scaled its wholesale AR without adding headcount.
